Tool overview
Ceedling is a build system for C projects built on Ruby’s Rake. It is designed for test-driven development in C and combines Unity (unit test framework), CMock (mock generation) and CException, automatically generating test runners and mocks.
Ceedling is developed by ThrowTheSwitch under the MIT licence. Version 1.1.1 was released in July 2026.
