Meld

Meld is a visual diff and merge tool for files, directories and version-controlled projects. It provides two- and three-way comparison of both files and directories, with live updates while files are edited.

Users can navigate between changes, apply or discard change blocks, and filter out irrelevant differences with text filters. Three-way merge assistance shows the base version and helps resolve conflicts. Meld supports many popular version control systems, which makes it useful to review code changes and patches.

Meld is a GNOME project, free and open source under the GPL-2.0 licence. It is packaged for most Linux distributions and available on Flathub.
