Android app that suggests accessibility improvements for apps
Accessibility Scanner is an Android application from Google that analyses the user interface of an app and suggests accessibility improvements. It lets anyone, not only developers, quickly identify common accessibility issues.
After enabling the Accessibility Scanner service, the user opens the app to test and taps the floating scanner button to take a snapshot of a single screen or record a whole user flow. The scanner highlights issues such as touch targets that are too small, insufficient colour contrast, missing content labels or clickable items without description, and explains each suggestion. Results can be shared with the development team.
Accessibility Scanner is free and available on Google Play.
