OpenClover

Code coverage and metrics for Java, Groovy and AspectJ

Tool overview

OpenClover measures code coverage for Java, Groovy and AspectJ and collects more than 20 code metrics. It not only shows untested areas of an application, but also combines coverage and metrics to find the riskiest code.

Its test optimisation feature tracks which test cases are related to each class of the application, so that only the tests relevant to the changes made in the code are run, which reduces test execution time. Coverage of unimportant code, such as getters and setters, can be excluded from the results. OpenClover integrates with Ant, Maven and Gradle, IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse, and CI servers such as Jenkins and Bamboo, and produces HTML, XML, JSON and PDF reports.

OpenClover is the open source continuation of Atlassian Clover and is free under the Apache 2.0 licence.
