AgitarOne

AgitarOne is a commercial tool for Java developers published by Agitar Technologies. It automatically generates JUnit tests for Java code, including characterisation tests for legacy code that record its current behaviour in order to detect regressions after changes. Its “software agitation” function supports interactive exploratory testing: it exercises classes with generated inputs so that developers can observe the behaviour of their code while writing it.

The product family also includes code rules checking, a functional coverage tracker that measures code coverage during functional testing of Java applications, and a project dashboard reporting against unit-level quality targets. It is used through plug-ins for Eclipse-based IDEs together with a server component, which can be clustered, and integrates with build and continuous integration tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
