Ahven

Ahven is a unit testing library for the Ada programming language. It is loosely modelled after JUnit, with some ideas taken from AUnit.

It has a small API and is written in plain Ada 95, while it can also be compiled as Ada 2005 or Ada 2012 code; it is portable across compilers and operating systems. Test results can be produced in JUnit-compatible XML format, which allows integration with continuous integration servers such as Jenkins or TeamCity.

Ahven is distributed under the ISC licence and is packaged by several Linux distributions (Fedora, EPEL). Version 2.9, released in September 2025, adds Alire support and custom set-up and tear-down procedures for test suites.
