Open source model-based testing framework for Python and .NET
AltWalker is an open source model-based testing framework that runs tests written in Python 3 and in .NET/C#. Tests are designed as a directed graph: vertices represent states to verify and edges represent actions to perform.
AltWalker uses GraphWalker to generate test paths from the graph, according to generators and stop conditions such as random walks or full edge coverage, and executes the matching test code step by step. A web-based model editor, a live viewer and a VS Code extension help create models and follow their execution, and the tool is driven from the command line or a Python API, with a Docker image available.
AltWalker was created by Altom and is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 licence.
