Argos

Argos is an open source visual regression testing platform for Playwright, Storybook and Vitest. It highlights visual changes for the team and for AI agents so that regressions can be spotted, fixes requested and changes merged with confidence.

Argos compares every change against a baseline, from screenshots to files such as Markdown, JSON or HTML and ARIA snapshots, and its SDK provides deterministic capture to reduce noise and focus on real differences.

Argos is distributed under the MIT licence on GitHub and offered as a hosted service that can be started for free.
