Artillery

Artillery is a load testing toolkit for HTTP APIs, GraphQL, WebSocket, Socket.io, gRPC, Kinesis and other protocols. Workloads can model complex user behaviour with request chains, multiple steps and transactions, and Artillery can also load test with real headless browsers through Playwright.

Tests can be scaled out on AWS Lambda or AWS Fargate without setting up load generator infrastructure. Artillery provides more than 20 integrations for monitoring, observability and CI/CD, and a plugin API for extensions; any Node.js module can be used in test scripts. The vendor also offers scalable Playwright end-to-end testing and production monitoring with browser or API checks.

Most of the code is distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and actively developed on GitHub; Artillery Cloud is the commercial companion service.
