boofuzz

Network protocol fuzzing framework, successor of Sulley

Tool overview

boofuzz is a network protocol fuzzing framework, a fork of and successor to the Sulley fuzzing framework, which is no longer maintained. Besides numerous bug fixes, it aims for extensibility.

Like Sulley, boofuzz provides quick data generation, instrumentation for failure detection, target reset after a failure and recording of test data, and adds online documentation and further features.

boofuzz is written in Python, open source and actively maintained on GitHub.
