debug_new

debug_new is a memory leak detector for C++ that replaces the global operator new and delete to record the file and line of each allocation and report leaked memory when the program exits. It also detects mismatched or repeated deletions and can check for memory corruption.

debug_new is part of Nvwa, a collection of C++ utilities by Wu Yongwei, distributed under the zlib licence; the GitHub repository was last updated in December 2025.
