Distributed Load Testing on AWS

AWS solution for distributed load testing on Fargate

Tool overview

Distributed Load Testing on AWS is a solution that automates performance testing of applications at scale. It simulates thousands of connected users generating HTTP requests at a sustained rate, without the need to provision servers.

Load test simulations run in independent Amazon ECS containers on AWS Fargate and can simulate tens of thousands of concurrent users across several AWS Regions. Tests use JMeter, k6 or Locust scripts, or a simple HTTP endpoint configuration; they can run immediately, at a future date or on a recurring schedule, and several tests can run concurrently.

The solution is deployed into the user’s own AWS account with an AWS CloudFormation template, and its source code is published on GitHub by AWS Solutions.
