go-mutesting

go-mutesting is a framework for performing mutation testing on Go source code. Its main purpose is to find source code that is not covered by any test.

It applies mutators to the Go packages given on the command line, for example removing statements or changing branches, and runs the tests for each mutation. For every mutation it prints whether it was detected; if not, the source code patch is displayed so that the missing test can be written. Mutators can be enabled or disabled, and a mutation score summarises the result.

This maintained fork by Avito of the original go-mutesting project is free and open source under the MIT licence.
