insta

insta is a snapshot testing library for Rust. A snapshot test asserts a value against a reference value, like an extended assert_eq!, but the reference is recorded and managed by insta instead of being written by hand.

Snapshots can be stored inline in the source file or as separate files, and values can be serialised in formats such as YAML, JSON, TOML, RON or CSV. Redactions replace values that change between runs, such as identifiers or timestamps. The cargo-insta command-line tool offers an interactive review of all changed snapshots, and a VS Code extension is available.
