Kaspresso

Kaspresso is an Android UI testing framework based on Espresso and UI Automator. It adds built-in protection against flaky tests, Jetpack Compose support, native screenshot testing (including dark mode), a declarative approach to writing tests and human-readable Kotlin DSL wrappers over Espresso and UI Automator.

Tests can interact with other applications and system elements, and Kaspresso produces detailed logs and reports with view hierarchy, screenshots and video, pulled automatically after execution. It supports ADB, Allure and Robolectric, offers the page object pattern out of the box and runs some UI Automator commands up to ten times faster. Migration from existing Espresso tests is designed to be easy.

Kaspresso is developed by Kaspersky and is open source under the Apache License 2.0, actively maintained on GitHub.
