Chaos Monkey for Kubernetes clusters
kube-monkey is an implementation of Netflix’s Chaos Monkey for Kubernetes clusters. It randomly deletes pods in the cluster, encouraging and validating the development of failure-resilient services.
Applications opt in with Kubernetes labels, which also define a mean time between failures and how many pods may be killed. Terminations happen only during the hours and days configured, and dry run is the default mode, so nothing is deleted until it is explicitly enabled. kube-monkey is installed in the cluster with a Helm chart.
kube-monkey is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence.
