OSMO Tester

OSMO Tester is a model-based testing tool that generates and executes test cases. Test models are expressed as Java programs, and the test generator executes them according to annotations defined in the model.

The generator can be configured with different algorithms to generate tests in different ways. Its goal is to provide a systematic approach to formalise the specification as a test model, and to generate automatically a large number of tests for a level of coverage that is not realistic with manual test creation. Supported coverage elements include variable values, steps, step pairs and state values.

OSMO Tester is open source under the LGPL-2.1 licence. Its source code has not changed since 2021.
