SuperTest

SuperTest is a Node.js library that makes HTTP assertions easy. It provides a high-level abstraction for testing HTTP, while still allowing access to the lower-level API of the superagent HTTP client.

An HTTP server or a Node.js application, such as an Express app, is passed to SuperTest, which binds it to a temporary port if needed. Requests are then chained with expectations on status codes, headers and bodies. SuperTest works with test frameworks such as Mocha and Jest, with callbacks, promises or async/await. It is commonly used for integration tests of web APIs.
