Testpad

Testpad is a lightweight tool for planning and running manual tests. Instead of formal test case management, it uses test plans written as checklists: structured enough to track coverage, but light enough to leave room for exploratory testing and finding the bugs that matter.

Test plans are written as hierarchical lists of test prompts, and testers record results directly against each line while running them. The vendor positions the tool for the human testing still needed when code, including AI-generated code, passes its own automated tests.
