UnitTestBot

UnitTestBot generates ready-to-use unit tests, with valid inputs, method bodies, assertions and comments, rather than test templates. It aims at high code coverage, with mocking and human-readable test descriptions.

At its core is a dynamic symbolic execution engine complemented by a fuzzing technique; together they explore program execution paths to cover as many of them as possible. An online demo is available.

UnitTestBot for Java and Kotlin is open source on GitHub; the last change to the repository dates from July 2025.
