Bug Magnet

Bug Magnet is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that gives quick access to common problematic values and edge cases during exploratory testing. Right-clicking any editable field opens a context menu from which values can be inserted, such as very long or empty strings, special and Unicode characters, boundary numbers, invalid e-mail addresses or names.

The extension also reminds testers of useful exploratory testing heuristics, and the menus can be customised with project-specific values.

Bug Magnet was created by Gojko Adzic and is free and open source under the MIT licence. The project also provides a BugMagnet command for AI coding agents, to apply the same edge-case heuristics when generating tests.
