Test & Feedback

Test & Feedback, formerly the Exploratory Testing extension, is a Microsoft browser extension for Chrome and Edge to test web applications and give feedback directly from the browser. Testers take notes, annotated screenshots and screen recordings, and user actions, page load data and system information are captured automatically.

In connected mode, linked to Azure DevOps Services or Team Foundation Server, findings become bugs, tasks or test cases with all captured information attached. User stories can be explored from the board, feedback requests managed, and an insights page summarises completed exploratory sessions. In standalone mode, sessions can be run offline and exported to share with the team.

The extension is free; some capabilities in connected mode depend on the user’s Azure DevOps access level.
