Visual Regression Tracker

Self-hosted service for visual testing and baseline management

Tool overview

Visual Regression Tracker is an open source, self-hosted solution for visual testing and for managing the results of visual tests. The service receives images, performs a pixel-by-pixel comparison with the previously accepted baseline and returns results immediately to catch unexpected changes.

It is independent of the automation framework and of the platform: web, mobile or desktop, as long as a screenshot can be taken. Agents are available for common tools, and features include baseline history, ignore regions to stabilise comparisons, and a web interface to review and approve changes.

Visual Regression Tracker is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence and is deployed with Docker.
