PowerfulSeal

PowerfulSeal injects failures into Kubernetes clusters so that problems are detected as early as possible. It allows writing scenarios that describe complete chaos experiments.

Policies written in YAML describe what to break, for example killing a pod, and what to check afterwards, for example that a service keeps responding to HTTP probes. It works with Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP and local machines, collects metrics for Prometheus and Datadog, and offers several modes for different use cases.

PowerfulSeal is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence. Its code has not changed since 2023.
