cargo-fuzz

Cargo subcommand for fuzzing Rust code with libFuzzer

Tool overview

cargo-fuzz is a Cargo subcommand for fuzzing Rust code with libFuzzer. It is maintained by the rust-fuzz community, which also maintains other fuzzing tools for Rust.

cargo fuzz init creates a fuzz directory in a crate, cargo fuzz add creates new fuzz targets, and cargo fuzz run builds and runs a target with sanitizers. Further commands minimise test cases and corpora and produce coverage information. Fuzz targets can receive structured data through the arbitrary crate. libFuzzer needs LLVM sanitizer support, so cargo-fuzz works on x86-64 and AArch64 Unix-like systems and requires a nightly Rust compiler.

cargo-fuzz is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 or MIT licence.
