Bitbucket Pipelines

Bitbucket Pipelines is the CI/CD service built into Bitbucket Cloud by Atlassian. It automates builds, tests and deployments without infrastructure to manage, and scales capacity up or down on demand.

Pipelines can be set up from a library of pre-built workflows and language-specific templates and build, test and deploy any language on Linux, Windows and macOS, on x86 and ARM; hybrid runners can also use the team’s own infrastructure. Pipeline progress, logs and deployments are visible within Bitbucket, standards for testing, security and compliance can be enforced across an organisation, and Pipes extend pipelines with third-party tools. Workflows can be modified at runtime with custom logic, and agentic pipelines automate tasks such as security fixes, documentation updates and fixing flaky tests through Rovo or Claude.
