Coverlet

Coverlet is a cross-platform code coverage framework for .NET, with support for line, branch and method coverage. It works with .NET Framework on Windows and with .NET Core on all supported platforms, for modern SDK-style projects.

Coverlet is available as several drivers: a VSTest data collector used with dotnet test, an MSBuild integration, a global console tool for any test assembly, and an extension for Microsoft Testing Platform. Results are written in formats such as JSON, LCOV, OpenCover and Cobertura, which can be turned into HTML reports with tools like ReportGenerator or uploaded to coverage services. Coverage thresholds can make the build fail.

Coverlet is free and open source under the MIT licence and is part of the .NET Foundation.
