gcovr

gcovr provides a utility for managing the use of the GNU gcov utility and generating summarised code coverage results for C and C++ programs. It is inspired by the Python coverage.py package.

gcovr can produce several kinds of reports: compact text summaries, an HTML overview of all files or annotated source files, CSV, JSON, Cobertura XML, SonarQube, Coveralls, LCOV and other formats, so that results can be consumed by CI servers and quality tools. It supports line, branch and decision coverage, filters on files and directories, coverage thresholds that fail the build, and the merging of results from several runs.

gcovr is written in Python and is free and open source under the BSD 3-Clause licence.
