Java Microbenchmark Harness
JMH (Java Microbenchmark Harness) is a harness for building, running and analysing nano, micro, milli and macro benchmarks written in Java and other JVM languages. Benchmarks are written as annotated methods, and JMH generates the code that runs them with warm-up iterations, forks and measurement settings.
The harness addresses the usual pitfalls of benchmarking on the JVM, such as dead-code elimination, constant folding and JIT warm-up. The recommended setup is a standalone Maven project created from the JMH archetype and depending on the code to be measured.
JMH is part of the OpenJDK project. It is free and open source under the GPL-2.0 licence.
