Pynguin

Pynguin (PYthoN General UnIt test geNerator) generates unit tests for Python programs automatically. Its authors present it as the first fully automated tool that produces unit tests for general-purpose programs in a dynamically typed language.

Pynguin executes the module under test to explore its behaviour and generate tests; because of this, the documentation warns that it should be run in an isolated environment to avoid side effects of the code under test.

Pynguin is an open source research tool developed at the University of Passau and actively maintained on GitHub.
