PyRIT

PyRIT (Python Risk Identification Tool for generative AI) is an open source framework from Microsoft for automated and human-led red teaming of generative AI systems. It helps security professionals and engineers identify risks in AI applications at scale.

It runs single-turn and multi-turn attack strategies, such as Crescendo, TAP or Skeleton Key, against AI systems. A scenario framework runs standardised evaluations covering content harms, psychosocial risks, data leakage and other risks, combining strategies and datasets for repeatable assessments. CoPyRIT provides a graphical interface for human-led red teaming.
