Vegeta

HTTP load testing at a constant request rate

Tool overview

Vegeta is an HTTP load testing tool built to drill HTTP services with a constant request rate. It can be used as a command-line tool or as a Go library.

The command-line interface is made of composable commands: attack sends the requests, report produces text, JSON or histogram reports, and plot renders the latency of the results as an interactive HTML chart. Vegeta is designed to be easy to use for distributed load testing across several machines.

Vegeta is distributed under the MIT licence and is maintained on GitHub; the library and the CLI are versioned separately.
