WAVE

WAVE is a suite of web accessibility evaluation tools by WebAIM. It identifies many accessibility errors and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) failures, and also supports human evaluation of web content; its approach focuses on issues known to affect end users.

A page can be checked by entering its address in the online WAVE tool, or directly in the browser with the WAVE extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge, which are useful for password-protected, local or highly dynamic pages. For many pages, the WAVE subscription API and the stand-alone WAVE API and Testing Engine collect accessibility test data; the stand-alone engine can be installed on internal infrastructure to test intranet and secure pages, including in continuous integration.

The online tool and browser extensions are free; the APIs and the Accessibility IMpact (AIM) assessment report, which adds an impact score and expert manual testing, are paid services.
