wrk

wrk is an HTTP benchmarking tool capable of generating significant load from a single multi-core CPU. It combines a multithreaded design with scalable event notification systems such as epoll and kqueue.

A benchmark is defined by its duration, number of threads and number of open HTTP connections. An optional LuaJIT script can generate requests, process responses and produce custom reports; examples are provided in the repository.

wrk is written in C and distributed on GitHub under a modified Apache License 2.0; the last change dates from December 2023.
