Visual regression testing for Storybook
Tool overview
Loki tests Storybook projects for visual regressions. It takes a screenshot of each story and compares it with a reference image, so that unintended changes in components are detected.
It aims at easy setup with no additional maintenance cost, and at reproducible tests independent of the operating system. Supported platforms include Chrome in Docker (recommended), a local Chrome application, the iOS simulator and the Android emulator, which also covers React Native stories.
Loki is free and open source under the MIT licence. Its code has not changed since October 2024.
