Chaos and resiliency testing tool for Kubernetes
Krkn is a chaos and resiliency testing tool for Kubernetes. It injects deliberate failures into clusters to validate that they can withstand turbulent conditions, with scenarios covering both Kubernetes resources and the underlying cloud infrastructure.
Krkn is lightweight and runs outside the cluster, driven by the krknctl command-line tool. It collects performance metrics during chaos runs and checks alerts after each scenario, and the Cerberus component monitors cluster health in real time to give go/no-go signals.
Krkn is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) sandbox project, free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence.
