Harness Resilience Testing

Harness Resilience Testing, formerly Harness Chaos Engineering, runs chaos experiments to discover resilience weaknesses before users do. It is part of the Harness software delivery platform.

During each fault injection, resilience probes measure HTTP health, Prometheus metrics and Kubernetes resource state, and can use APM platforms such as Dynatrace or Datadog. A resilience score is computed for each experiment and returned to the pipeline, so releases can be gated on measurable thresholds. Service-level coverage reports show which services have been tested, and application maps visualise the blast radius of a fault across dependencies.
