Thunder Client

Thunder Client is a lightweight REST API client extension for Visual Studio Code and JetBrains IDEs, designed with a focus on simplicity, clean design and local storage.

Requests are organised in collections with environments, and responses are checked with scriptless assertions or scripts. WebSocket, Server-Sent Events and gRPC are supported, data is stored locally or in Git-friendly files for team collaboration, and a command-line interface runs collections in CI/CD pipelines. An MCP server lets AI assistants use Thunder Client.

Thunder Client is a commercial product with a free plan with limits and paid plans per user.
