OpenText Professional Performance Engineering, formerly LoadRunner Professional, is a performance and load testing tool. It simulates large numbers of users on web, mobile, API and enterprise applications, using many protocols, and analyses response times and system behaviour to locate bottlenecks.
LoadRunner was developed by Mercury, then HP and Micro Focus, before passing to OpenText. It is a commercial product with a free trial.
